Dear Mizz Allie~
Umm, I think I have a problem. Or at least that's what my Tina tells me a lot lately.
I'm a 6 month old Daisie...and I live with my Tina, aunt Kerrie, and this really cool
roommate named Cricket. He has 4 legs and pointy ears too, only he poops in a
box! Umm, I like to play a lot and run around with Cricket. But when its time to
eat...there's just too much other stuff to do! Sometimes Tina puts my bowl in my
cage, but I really don't like being stuck in there. I admit I throw a little tantrum...and
throw my food out of the bowl. Most of the time Tina puts my food on the floor.
Sometimes I eat with Cricket out of my bowl, but Tina and Kerrie get mad and yell.
I try eating out of his bowl, and they don't like that either. Kerrie says I'm just too
distracted. Tina tells me I need to put on some weight so I can be pretty and look
good in the show ring. I don't know what that is or if I will like it, but I want my Tina
to still like me. Maybe you should tell her to try new food, right now I eat from a
yellow bag..and she puts wet meat goo on it. Or, maybe we should lock Cricket in
my cage with me and my food... ummm. Maybe you have better ideas? Please let
me know. Until then, I'll be chasing Cricket!
Mizz Daisie Mae
Dear Miss Daisie Mae,
Is Cricket a kitty? I LOVE kitties! I can see why you have trouble concentrating on
your dinner with a kitty in the room.
My brother, Jagger, used to have a hard time remembering to eat his dinner. He
would eat a few bites and then go look out the window, then he'd eat a few more
bites and go grab a toy. He was sort of skinny for a long time and Debbie would
take him to Arby's and buy him his own roast beef sandwich so he'd gain weight.
But Daisie, you need to eat your dinner so you can win a ribbon in the show ring.
See, the judges are going to look at your figure and your pretty fur, and they will
give you a ribbon if you have a nice waistline and stuff like that.
Maybe Tina needs to put surprises in your dinner every now and then. Sometimes
Debbie will hide some broccoli in our food bowls, and sometimes she hides a pizza
crust in there. For awhile, Debbie would even pour some gravy stuff on top of our
food and that was pretty good, too. And the food she's been giving us this year is
the best that she's ever given us. It has raw meat in it! It's just like getting our
meals fresh off the prairie! Me and my kitty eat the raw meat together. I think he
likes it even more than I do. Why don't you suggest some of this stuff to your
human?
In any case, you really MUST eat all of your dinner every night. Try really hard---it's
easier on your human if you eat good. For some reason that makes them really
happy.
Your friend, Allie (who has a very curvy figure!)
